The Preservation Hall Jazz Band Honored To Be The House Band For "Jam The Vote"

The Preservation Hall Jazz Band and special guests The Blind Boys Of Alabama are honored to serve as house band for Jam The Vote

Hosted at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York, this Sunday night, November 6, 2016, Jam The Vote is said to be a “celebration of democracy through the positive energy of live music that will take place 36 hours before Election Day."

For those who can’t make it to the show, Jam The Vote will be available to stream worldwide via a free live stream at JamTheVote.org. Viewers will be asked to pledge to vote on Election Day in order to watch the free multi-camera broadcast. Online, viewers will also be able to learn about their polling place, ID requirements, and more. Only those who pledge to vote can tune in to this soon- to-be historic event.

All proceeds from Jam The Vote will benefit HeadCount.
